We're excited to offer this innovative decaf coffee from Brandywine Coffee Roasters, featuring the work of Colombian producer Brayan Alvear. This Red Bourbon lot from Huila undergoes a distinctive passionfruit co-fermentation, followed by sugarcane ethyl acetate (EA) decaffeination. The result is a decaf with exceptional flavour clarity and intensity, showcasing notes of pineapple, passionfruit, and clementine.

This coffee begins with an anaerobic fermentation in cherry, enhanced with dehydrated passionfruit pulp to intensify fruit character. After fermentation, the beans are dried in mechanical silos for consistency, and then rested in GrainPro bags to stabilise and preserve their unique profile. The final step is natural decaffeination using sugarcane-derived EA, a gentle method that removes caffeine while maintaining the coffee’s original sweetness and complexity.
